Purpose I am writing to recommend the creation of a Puukahea Campsite Endowment Fund. The goal of this fund is to ensure the long-term sustainability and development of the Puukahea Campsite, fostering both its operational needs and its continued impact on the community. Background The Puukahea Campsite has become an integral part of our organization’s mission, providing a unique space for community engagement, outdoor education, and cultural enrichment. As we look to strengthen its future, it is vital to establish a financial base that will ensure the campsite's operations, maintenance, and future enhancements. An endowment fund, invested and managed over time, will provide the financial stability needed to meet our current and future needs.
